“I Am Not Your Enemy II” builds on my original composition, first released in 2020 and inspired by the tragic death of George Floyd and the realities many face in interactions with law enforcement. The piece reflects both personal experience and a broader call for empathy, understanding, and dialogue. Its message reminds listeners that we are not each other's enemy, even in times of division and pain. At its heart, the work encourages unity, compassion, and a recognition of our shared humanity.
